    I’ve recently installed this plug-in and I’m having issues in that, even though I’ve ticked/checked the option to auto-confirm bookings, it’s still sending them to the Pending status and, therefore, not sending either me nor the client any confirmation emails until I’ve gone in and manually confirmed it.

    Also, if I try switching auto-confirm, it does not notify me by email that I have a pending booking. How am I supposed to know to check, if I’ve not been notified?

    Hope you’re well.

    I tried that option with the fresh install WordPress and looks like auto-confirm is working for my side. Are your appointments need payment? Maybe that can prevent auto-confirm feature. Or are you getting default WordPress emails? If your all WordPress emails broken maybe that can cause this issue?

    If none of them helps, can you try conflict tests? For plugin conflict, you should deactivate all other plugins and try only with Appointments. Then try activating Twenty Seventeen theme too. If it helps, try activating plugins one by one until replicate the issue.

    If you found any conflict please let us know. And because of this can cause data loss I recommend to take the backup before trying that.

    I’ve tried all those things. Still not working. The plugin is just too buggy. I’ve decided to look for a better alternative – that actually works properly!!

    I’m really sorry for the frustration here. It seems that this isn’t something easily reproducible and as long as we don’t get much information from you about the setup you tested, we can’t further troubleshoot this.

    Unless users have the exact same version of WordPress on the same physical server hosted by the same hosts with the same plugins, theme, and configurations, then the odds are the solution for one user will not be the same for another.
