Auto drafts are generated automatically by WordPress, you can read more here: https://sigmaplugin.com/blog/what-are-wordpress-auto-drafts-and-how-to-clean-them

While drafts are those you have saved explicitly, you can read more here: https://sigmaplugin.com/blog/what-are-wordpress-drafts-and-how-to-clean-them

So deleting auto drafts will not delete drafts you have saved. But make sure you are not in need of those auto drafts. And please always back up your database before any cleanup.
