Everything is working OK in the plugin, except that when I publish a new entry in the blog using the WordPress mobile app or any other XMLRPC software, the plugin tweets an Auto Draft and the link. Here’s a screenshot of the log.

I managed to solve this in the previous version of WordTwit fiddling with the OAuth offset values, but now with the new version it doesn’t fix the issue.

Also tried activating and deactivating the “Tweet automatically when content is generated by other plugins or third party applications via XML-RPC” with no luck.

    Any help?

    Thanks in advance.

I’ve been testing many Post-to-Twitter plugins and they all have the same behavior with posts made via XMLRPC: They all end up firing a twitter post that says “Auto-Draft”.

Reading further in many threads, there seems to be some sort of ‘auto-draft-to-publish’ post transition state in posts created by XMLRPC clients.

Maybe you guys should look into this?

Have you ensured that there isn’t a conflict in your WordPress configuration that’s causing the issue?

To isolate which plugin(s) may be contributing to the trouble, deactivate all except WordTwit from within the WordPress Plugins area, clear your browser cache and local data then test.

If WordTwit functions well, you may then enable the rest of your plugins one at a time, repeating the process, until you can identify which may be causing the problem.
