I’ve set up my e-commerce site to send ordering emails to customers according to order status. It’s been going well until a few latest WooCommerce update when those settings are kinda messy. I’m using my custom email from AutomateWoo together with some of default email from WooCommerce.

My question is how I can disable emails from WooCommerce order status of “Processing Order” and “Order Payment Confirmed” since I already have my own emails for these. There are a few auto emails sending out to customers from nowhere. I can’t find the origin of it even in the backend admin dashboard. They create a lot of confusion to customers regarding order status.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi @vootzilla,

You can disable the default emails WooCommerce sends but visiting WooCommerce > Settings > Emails. Once on that page if you open the email you wish to deactivate you can do so by altering this setting on the email.

Yes I know that I can disable the whole processing emails flow. But my question is that I want to disable only some emails from the woocommerce flow. Can I do that? (I still need some of the emails)

also I got these emails after payment too. Are these ones of default woocommerce emails? This one just appeared in the recent woocommerce update. I’ve never seen them before and I couldn’t find them in the settings. I don’t want them since I can’t find the way to edit the wordings in them. So I already have my custom ones for these. Now the system sends out so many emails to customers which is very confusing (both to me and my customers).

You can deactivate individual emails from WooCommerce > Settings > Emails.

If you’re receiving emails which are not displayed within WooCommerce > Settings > Emails those could be being sent by a plugin you have installed on your site. All of the default emails which the free WooCommerce plugin sends are located at WooCommerce > Settings > Emails.

Thank you very much. I’ll try to dig in all the plugins.
