Auto-fit in a 1/3 row
-
Hi there,
first of all, thank you for the awesome plugin. Even if I doesn’t happen to fit my needs in the end, it’s still a very good free product.
So, here’s what I’m trying to do with it:
On my page there are two separate sections I try to combine into one single row now – the Info Section [Screenshot Info] and the News Section [Screenshot News].
My Page is built with WPBakery’s Page Builder and both rows contain elements of said builder. The Info Section is a single row, divided into three thirds. In every third, there is a ‘Feature Box’- and a ‘Button’-Element. The News Section is just a single row, in which a ‘Blog Summary’-Element is placed.
Redesigning my page a bit, I wanted to combine both sections in a single row, devided like 1/3 row for the Blog Summary and 2/3 for the Info Section. So, something like THIS. The problem is, that the ‘Blog Summary’-Element is by default set to show three posts next to each other, so when I place the element in the 1/3 row, it still displays three blog posts next to each other instead of one, and these three get very narrowed down, which looks bad, as you may imagine [Screenshot].So, that issue, made me search for a new Slider Plugin, that gives me the possibility to display the latest Blog Posts and I came across Smart Slider 3. When I try reaching my goal using it, I can’t figure out how to make the Slider ‘automatically’ fit into the 1/3 row [Screenshot Backend-Setup]. Because now, the Slider exceeds his 1/3 row container (Respensive Mode is set to ‘Auto’) and is also way too huge in height [Screenshot Issue]. What I want it to do in terms of size ist to stick to its 1/3 row width and be as high as the Info Section next to it.
I will be very thankful, if you could help me achieving this goal. Thanks in advance.
