Auto-generated service credentials

    I have installed the Watson plugin, crated an account on IBM Cloud, created a Watson Assistant, and given it a skill.

    But when I go to API Details for the Watson Assistant on IBM Cloud to get the Username and Password to put into the Plugin Setup for Watson Assistant, the Credentials Name field says “Auto-generated service credentials” and the Username and Password fields are empty.

    How do I get it to generate a Username and Password that I can see, or how do I find the Credentials?

  • I had this same issue. You can get your IBM API key from the IBM cloud dashboard. Go to services and find your Watson chat. Then look for credentials and copy the apikey.

    Then for username put “apikey”
    Password paste in the key you got from IBM
