Auto Import not working in new version

    I updated to TablePress 1.4 and Auto Update extension plugin 1.2 and now I can import data (in CSV format) from Google doc and save the ‘auto import’ configuration but it does not auto update the table. I have set ’15 minutes interval’ but still the last rightmost column in the auto import table remains blank. WordPress version is 3.8.1

    It was working fine few months back with Table Press 1.3 and Auto Update version 1.0

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    First: Instead of using WordPress 3.8.1, please update to 3.9.1

    Then, just to be sure: Does the manual import of the CSV file from the Google Docs URL work? That is necessary for the auto import.

    OK, couple of updates:

    1- The manual import from Google Doc in a CSV format is working.

    2- The auto import is also working but it does not show or update the rightmost column on the ‘Import a Table’ tab. Earlier, it used to show the time when it last auto-imported.

    3- I have upgraded to 3.9.1.

    So does it mean that the functionality is working but the UI has some issue (the ‘Last Auto Import’ column not being updated)?

    Hi,

    thanks for checking that! I think it’s more likely that the last column on that screen is not updated, because not all tables could be auto-imported properly. One reason for that might be that the memory limit is reached. Can you try to increase that with the instructions from https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
    I suggest a value of 256M.
