Auto Insert Not Working

The plugin is not auto inserting inline posts to any of my existing posts. I can insert manually through editing a post but it does not insert automatically even though the box “Insert in already existing posts?” telling it to do so is checked.
It will add a box to the end of a post if I check “Insert a box at the end of the post? (if needed)” but that is not what i want.

I want to upgrade to the pro version for the extra features but want to know it’s going to work first.
