Auto Install of 3.83 I can't access control panel

I am tested your site from the frontend. Many files are are either deleted (auto failed to write) or the .htaccess file has got some issues. Please check the files on FTP and tell us.

Files at root are fine. Also check the ownership of the files and chmod status. Who is the web host?

it appears that i’m logged in….as I get an edit ability, but it can’t find any of the pages….this appears to be some sort of database issue to me. Is there anyone here who can help me?

well….In my opinion, wordpress update just failed or timed out. I reinstalled the wpadmin and other necessary files and…the site came up.

Yes the update failed because wp-admin files were owned by 4221, server disallowed overwriting of some files. Your setup is actually secure. Its difficult to say who is 4221 except the person who installed the system. Next time, update manually.
