Hello, I have a woocommerce store with PMPro plugin installation with woocommerce addon configuration.

What i am looking for: i want to have recurring membership of $39.95 per month with 10 days day-free trial with a 40% discount setup globally on all products. [it’s possible to set up with PMPro recurring option i did it]…

But I want to show a 40% discount on all of my store products to new customers as soon as they visit my shop[which will be linked with recurring membership], When customers purchase any of the products, my recurring membership plan ($39.95) should be automatically activated with checkout of any specific product, so i can charge them 39.95 after 10 days trial and then 39.95/month until they will stay as a member of our store..

For Better understanding i am attaching my competitor membership policy:

    Membership

3.1 To make a purchase with Plusshop, the customer must subscribe to a membership on terms of subscription.

3.2 The customer must be 18 or older and be a xyz resident.

3.3 Only one membership can be set up per customer. Business owners are not able to set up a membership.

3.4 It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure that their account information is up-to-date and correct at all times.

3.5 The first time the customer makes a purchase with Plusshop, a membership will be added to their shopping basket. The membership fee is £9.95 incl. VAT per month and will be withdrawn from the customer’s credit or debit card each month. The membership fee will not be withdrawn within the first 30 days, as this period is considered a trial period. During this trial period, the customer is free to withdraw from the membership agreement. The membership fee will be withdrawn from the customer’s credit or debit card 30 days after the customer’s account has been set up. The withdrawal is scheduled to occur on the same time of day as the membership was initially created.

3.6 Should the customer wish to cancel their membership, this can be done with immediate effect. Cancellation must be informed in writing to the email [email protected] or be carried out via the customer’s account using “My account” at frontpage and then “My membership”. Use the function “Cancel membership”.

Hi there, thank you for reaching out to Paid Memberships Pro.

The default functionality of PMPro with the Woocommerce integration is that all payment and user handling is processed by Woocommerce.

Based on your product settings, a membership can either be given to a user if they purchase that product, or if the user has a membership level, a global or product specific discount can be applied.

We do not handle any of the billing on PMPro’s side when making use of the Woo integration – You would need Woo Subscriptions in order for subscriptions to be processed through Woo, and a membership level and or discount to be applied to a user account.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hello, i added this functionality with custom coding to add the PMPro plan to the new customers automatically when they adds the product to cart but i have one issue…

I setup recurring billing plan (0.00€?now and then?39.95€ per Month.
Membership expires after 10 Days.) mean when for new customers there will be 10 days trial…

    But i am getting error/warnings:

WARNING: This level is set with both a recurring billing amount and an expiration date. You only need to set one of these unless you really want this membership to expire after a certain number of payments. For more information,?see our post here.

But i want my new members to get 10 days free trail and after 10 days it will charge 39.95/month onward… How it can be possible

I am bit confused about the PMPro… What I want

10 Days Free Trial (40% Discount on all my store products) with the initial cost of $39.95…. After 10 days Amount should be deducted from my customer’s Debit card after 10 days with the same Benefit (40% discount on all my store products)

How can i achieve it with the PMPro plugin…??

When I set the Trial Membership Plan with the Following

    Billing Details:

    Initial Payment: $0
Recurring Subscription -> checked the box

    Billing Amount: $39.95 Per Month

    Billing Cycle Limit: 0

    Custom Trial: checked

Trial Billing Amount: $39.95 for the first?1?subscription payment.

After setting up these settings I can see the expiration date: NEVER

Not sure How can i get the above-mentioned… Can you guide me ..???

    Thank you for your feedback.

10 Days Free Trial (40% Discount on all my store products) with the initial cost of $39.95

If the billing is handled by Woocommerce, you need to make use of Woocommerce Subscriptions to handle a recurring payment and trial period – PMPro doesn’t handle any billing when you connect it to Woo.

Purchasing a product that is associated with a membership simply assigns the level to the users profile. It won’t enforce a trial period or anything similar.

When I set the Trial Membership Plan with the Following

Those are level settings which would only work if the member signed up for the level through the PMPro checkout process.
