    Hey

I made an issue on the Gutenberg repo at Github: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/45577

To where I am using the featured image feature inside the Cover block. The problem was that the featured image on the frontend became blurred. I deactivated all the plugins, and download the image, renamed it and uploaded it again. Then set it as featured. Checked the frontend and noticed the image was sharp again.

Please check the github issue. As it might be the Auto Optimize plugin affecting the featured image. Thank you!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

What are your Autoptimize settings paaljoachim? And did you try with Autoptimize disabled?

Yeah. I disabled Autoptimize along with various other plugins. Downloaded the one image which was blurred and uploaded it again.

I will activate Autoptimize again and check out the settings.

I noticed this image is still blurred: https://webkonsulenten.com/om-fanny/ (It is one image I did not download and upload again.)

I did download this image and re uploaded it again: https://webkonsulenten.com/2021/02/25/a-snu-et-personlighetsmonster/

But Autopitmize does not optimize images locally, if image optimzation is active then it’s a CDN-based solution (and you don’t seem to have Image opttimization active in AO), so I don’t see how AO would intervene with your local images I’m afraid ..
