Auto play now defaults to always Off

    For Nivo Slider, the default transition effect used to be Fade but has been changed to Random, and Auto Play used to be On but is now default Off, when creating a new slider.

    Or, perhaps… the settings when creating a new slider used to keep what they were on the last slider you created – our default was Fade and On, but now a new slider always defaults to Random and Off, irrespective of what the last slider was created as.

    I think this changed in 3.90.0 – please can the behaviour be changed back to “create a new slider based on the settings of the last slider I created”?

    when creating a new slideshow some settings are taken based on the last edited slideshow and some are defaults defined that way. Auto play is off always for any new slideshow.

    I beg to disagree. I’ve been using MetaSlider for nearly 8 years now and I’ve never had to alter the Auto Play setting in all that time. It has always been On when creating a new slider because that’s the only setting we use, obviously being picked up from the last slide show we created. But over the past week or so, every new slider has had Auto Play set to Off.

    Ditto Transition: never had to change it in years, it was always Fade on every new slider because that’s all we’ve ever used. Now it’s always Random on a new slider.

    Please review this again.

    Auto play was disabled by default since 3.90 version.

    Why? What a stupid change. Extremely unhelpful. And NOT listed in the Changelog either.

    Please change it back. And the Transition setting.
