You need to add the code to your child theme’s functions.php file or via a plugin that allows custom functions to be added, such as the?Code snippets?plugin. Please don’t add custom code directly to your parent theme’s functions.php file as this will be wiped entirely when you update the theme.

@roxannestoltz thanks for the suggestion, I found this solution in the forum as well and tried it but still not working.

@ihereira This functionality was working. Unfortunately, I can’t tell when it stopped working… We just received a complaint from one customer that these 3 fields: Address line 1, City and State are not getting auto-filled in the checkout page… Also, I’m not sure if the 2 plugins are an alternative for our case… If the client already has an account on my website and he already filled all the information why he should refill this information every time he place an order.

Can you go to your dashboard > WooCommerce > status > scheduled actions > pending, and run the pending actions allowing some time for these actions to run properly, then check again if the issue persists?

Can you please share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if any).

Thanks for the updated copy of your system status.

I can’t replicate what you describe on this topic. On my test installation running with the latest versions of WordPress, WooCommerce, and the default Storefront theme all checkout fields are retained for logged-in customers.

It may be worth contacting your hosting provider and asking their support if any error logs have been saved in the server logs. Read more about finding PHP error logs here:
