• Hello, I am looking for a way to auto populate or auto fill in pre-formatted content into the fields of a new post when creating new posts in WordPress.

I have several different types of specific posts that I consistently publish over & over that require precise formatting of the text entered into the Title, Content, & Excerpt fields of a new post.

In the Add New Post form I’m ideally looking to be able to press a button and have the Title, Content, Excerpt, & Category fields auto fill based on predetermined content.

I would need there to be like 5-10 different pre-formatted auto fill buttons that each auto populate these fields based on their post type of mine.

For example, on the Add New Post page their might be the following buttons…

Tech Post – Financial Post – Journal Post – Social Post

…where clicking each one auto fills specific predetermined info into the post fields that can then be edited and published.

Right now, I have to use pre-formatted MS Word templates on my local PC to create a new post exactly as it should be formatted, then copy and paste into WordPress. This is very inefficient and not flexible as I would like to be able to create the content as it should be within WordPress from any browser outside of my local PC, without needing my MS Word templates to guide me.

I have been searching extensively without any luck so far.

If there is a plugin available ideally or even a manual code hack that I could work with, I’d be very interested!

    Thank you! ??
