    Basically on all(?) websites we host at Cloudways we see recently a auto-populated IP address 135.125.83.227 at Wordfence “Allowlisted IP addresses that bypass all rules”

    Wordfence Scan do not come up with real issues, except of the site listed here (until today)

    Is someone here confronted with same or similar issue?

    Why we cannot remove this IP address from Wordfence?

    Any suggestions are welcome.

    Thanks!

    Meanwhile we can see the auto-populated White List IP coming from WP Rocket:

    /public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-rocket/inc/ThirdParty/Plugins/Security/WordFenceCompatibility.php: const WHITELISTED_IPS = [ ‘135.125.83.227’ ];

    You may want to contact WP-Rocket about it if this is correct?

    Hello @pakkriss and thanks for reaching out to us!

    Yes, this is a WP Rocket addition. They were having issues with Local File Intrusions for some of their features. These were false positives but they were causing a lot of cached files to be blocked.

    This seems to be their fix for that. This is completely safe since it’s a known WP Rocket server.

    Thanks again!
