I’ve been to the settings and ticked the “Autopost new posts” box then clicked “Save Configuration”. However, when I create a new post there is no tick in the “Toot on Mastodon” box and I have to click it manually every time.

Using v3.6.6 on WordPress 6.1 with Classic Editor. I’ve tried disabling Classic, but I have the same issue with the block editor as well.

I have a similar issue. Also same versions of plugin and WP. The “Save configuration” function seems to work, but new posts do not appear on Mastodon. The Test Toot function is successful, so login etc. is correct; but no new posts or updates of actual blog posts get published to Mastodon.

Tried to email Simon at [email protected] with links to example pages, but the email bounced back undeliverable.

If I click the “Toot” box on an individual post, then it does go to Mastodon. So everything is working except that box being ticked by default (which it should be as I’ve set that option in the settings).

The plugin does not work for me at all. I have set it up as instructed and the test toot worked. So I check the Toot box in a new post and publish and nothing happens on my Mastodon accounts. I wonder if there is something I still have to enable?
