I have a few hundred posts set to auto-post every 24 hours (same posts) …

As far as intervals etc., would it be better to auto-post them all at the same time, (example: set all auto post to post @ 12:00) or set each post one minute apart ( example: first post 12:01, second post 12:02, etc. etc.)…

Or does sit not make a difference either way? Thanks in advance!

one last thing… being that i will be posting posts once every 24 hours, is there a heartbeat insterval setting you suggest? ( default was set to 24 seconds) Thanks again for the time!

    Hi,

You should try the Daily occurrence type!

As for the heartbeat interval, if you are familiar with setting up a real Cron job on the server, which may require to login your server CPanel or a console program, tell it to access the url for the manual server heartbeat with your desired interval. The url will appear when you turn off the heartbeat in the Server Heartbeat setting page (Dashboard -> Task Scheduler -> Settings -> Server Heartbeat).

    Hope it helps.

I forgot to mention, I`m already using Daily occurrence type. I have over 100 set to post every minute ( 2 posts per minute )

Is better/more efficient to spread large amounts of posts over a period of time, (above examples) or better to set them all at the same time (Example: 100+ post set to auto-post @ 12:00) ?

If its all the same, i d prefer the latter… Please let me know / Thank Again! Powerful plugin with a good amount of options for what it was designed to do, Great work. Still testing…

It will be less resource-intensive when you run a certain set of tasks over a period of time rather than doing them at all once.

If your server gets noticeably slow for doing the latter, go with the former.

    Fair Enough!

Side note ( observation ) when using Daily Occurrence, normal settings allow 00:00 format ( hours/minutes (no seconds between post )..

I tried adding 30 second intervals manually (example 12:00:30) but the result was duplicate posts etc.. theres an issue with the seconds, but its not an error with the plugin (and not a big deal) again, just an observation. Thanks Again for The Insight support and Effort!

P.s – I have a few routines running, but never enabled. It seems to be random from the post i have set up… I have 120 post set-up to run at a specific time ( ever 24 hours ) and i m seeing 5 routines…

Not sure the role of routines, can you explain the randomness i m seeing… btw, everything works fine, again, just not sure what the role of the random routines are..

Please let me know your thoughts on that when you have a fast few… Much Appreciated!
