Is it possible to automatically post to GMB if new posts are created without using the WordPress Admin front-end? Something like Uncanny Automator?

Hi @alexlewin, definitely! By default you’ll have to manually check the “Auto-post” checkbox when creating a post in order to create a GMB post. But you can make it checked by default in the auto-post settings (Post to GMB > Settings > Auto-post settings > Auto-post by default).

That way when you publish a new post it will automatically be published to GMB as well.

Note that depending on how your post is being created (through a 3rd party plugin, XML-RPC or REST etc), you may have to turn on additional “request types” that the plugin should listen for. You can do this through Auto-post settings > Enabled request types. As by default the plugin will only listen for posts created through the editor.

Hey @alexlewin, did you get this working the way you want? Marking this as resolved for now but feel free to re-open and follow up.
