Auto Preload/add (and lock) a block when creating a new page?

I have created a “Testimonial Block” – a copy paste of the ACF tutorial here: (block.json approach)

QUESTION / OBJECTIVE
– When I create a new page OR when a custom template is selected in the backend, i’m looking to do the following:
–> Automatically (by code) preload/add the “Testimonial Block” (or conceptually any other block) (preferable in locked state) to the Gutenberg editorIs this somehow possible?

Does this only work for new post types(?) = default “Pages” and “Posts” cant load whatever blocks you’d like by default?
EDIT: I could just look at the first example from your link ?? It works for whatever post type! ??
