Auto refresh on favorites page

When I remove a single post from my favorites page, it does not go away until after I manually refresh the entire page. When I choose to remove all the posts it also does not auto refresh the page. I have to do it manually. This is the case under all browsers. I’ve looked and looked and I cannot find a solution. Can someone help?
