Auto resizing thumbnail images

Hi,

I use both Contextual Related Posts and Top 10 on my site winallpoker.com, and noticed that the image used by the plugin is not the 150×150 and 65×65 that is created but instead the original image of the post resized by css instead of the smaller image. i.e. 160px × 160px (scaled to 65px × 65px)

If I manually set the image in the post editor to image-150×150.jpg for CRP and image-65×65.jpg manually then both plugins use image-150×150.jpg
and if set to image.jpg then that’s the image that appears.

Am I doing something wrong, or is that by plugin design as I have generated most 150×150 and 65×65 images and seems a shame for load times to load a larger than needed image.
