Auto save triggering update notification

Hi!

When we set up a notification that’s triggered by a page update, the auto-save feature seems to trigger the notification as well. Is there a way to only have the update trigger fire when a published page is updated vs. every time the page auto-saves?

We’re using Version 7.1.1 with WordPress 5.5
