Auto Scroll VSEL images

    Hello again Guido,
    Hopefully you didnt suffer covid.
    You previously and kindly helped me display VSEL event Images / Titles / Dates – in a variety of ways for different layouts on different pages that I needed help with on the Theatre site I run.

    May I again ask for your expert guidance on the possibility of making the VSEL event images auto scroll while displayed as a horizontal grid, I currently display 6 event images horizontally at the head of my Test Site and if I want to see more of the event images then I have to click “Next >> or << Previous” links.

    I only wish the scroller to display on desktop / tablet landscape view via shortcode and do not need it for mobile view and I realise that aspect is soved by media queries. I am also happy with the Single View.

    Can it be done ? as I use VSEL to populate my theatre pages with “current” events but sadly I have to use a seperate plugin as a carousel to display images, and frustratingly it cannnot link to VSEL dbase, which means I am constanly updating the carousel to add / remove images.

    I would like to keep continuity and use VSEL throughout and bin the plugin carousel.

    Hi Keith,

    I cannot help you with this because I have very limited knowledge of jQuery / AJAX and that’s needed for creating a slider / carousel.

    You can look for pagination plugins that use jQuery / AJAX in order to make pagination more smooth and without reloading the page. When having some spare time, I will look for a plugin or working code example as well.
