Auto Select Featured Image for old posts?

  • I just upgraded one of my sites to use WP 3.0 and its thumbnail feature.

    I do not want to go back and edit every post and select a thumbnail image for the post.

    Is there an easy way to select the first image in a post and use it as thumbnail?
