Auto select option

  • Hi,

    Was wondering if its possible to do the following using Contact form 7:

    On our web site, we have different products for sale (lets call them Product A, B and C), and each of these has its own product page with a button displayed with the option to “Request a Quote”.

    Once clicked by a user, I like for it to go to the “Request a Quote” Contact 7 Page and automatically have pre-select Product A or B or C in a drop menu (or radio button|check box).

    Is it possible to add a attribute to the Button html code so that this is made possible?

    You can use default:get option to realize that.

    Thanks for the quick response! Looks promissing. I will have to read through it in more detail and do some tests.

    Second question I would have.

    Does this also mean that I can make just one contact form on the website and have it fill any of the needed fields through this default:get option?

    For example I need to use contact forms for “Request a Quote”, “Request More Information”, “Subscribe to Newsletter”. I could make just one form with all possible input fields and fill it with the default:get option when clicking on a button from anywhere on the web site?

    Yes, it’s possible. I know many sites use it like that.
