auto selecting the shipping method

i have more than 10 restaurant sites with woocommerce. my clients complaining that they get order for collection but their customers saying later on that they wanted delivery and vice versa.this is happening because peoples keep overlooking the shipping options and one of the shipping method is selected by default.

i tried in several way to make shipping section more visible by changing the background color or putting some popup notice in checkout page etc. but still it is happening.

the porper solution is if it is possible not to select any shipping method by defaul. if customer hit place order button then it gonna show the customer please select shipping method. then it is fine.
can you please help me to do that.
