Auto sticky post: exclude scheduled posts

  • I’ve a website with a lot of scheduled posts (up to 50) and the sticky post option has an important role in the structure of the website.

    I searched for a solution to automate the proces of “sticky posting”, I wanted the latest posts into the sticky display.

    I found the almost perfect solution with “Auto Sticky Posts”, it does exactly what I described above.

    The only big thing with this plugin is that the latest post is the latest scheduled post and not the the latest published post. With the effect that the sticky display is empty because the posts aren’t posted and visible yet.

    Is there a way to exclude scheduled posts from this way of working?
    Would be lovely!
