    Let me look into this. There is no reason isn’t should be able to work in the muplugins. Must be a bug needing to be fixed.

    I’ve found the solution – apologies!
    I hadn’t realised that MU plugins didn’t work if placed in a folder – in this case the auto-thickbox folder.

    I’ve simply added a new plugin php file in the mu-plugins folder with line:
    require WPMU_PLUGIN_DIR.’/auto-thickbox/auto-thickbox.php’;

    and this has worked.
    Might be worth adding to your readme file so newbies like myself don’t bug you ??

    Thanks again for a great plugin. It should be the default action in WP if you ask me.
