• Hi–

Using WPAU 1.2.2 doing the upgrade from WP 2.6.1 to 2.6.2, I get a bunch of permission denied errors. Then WPAU says it was successful, but the Dashboard reports I am still at 2.6.1.

I have done auto upgrades before, and never had these error messages.

When I ran it a second time, the log file shows a lot of files copied and a lot of “ERROR -> Could not copy” messages.

    What is my next step?

    Thanks!

    Hi–

OK, I saw some posts on the WPAU site which suggested a permissions problem. I tried changing index.php to 777 and still got error messages such as this:

Warning: copy(/home/dgermann/domains/footprintsinthewind.com/public_html/wp-admin/page.php) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/dgermann/domains/footprintsinthewind.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-automatic-upgrade/wpau_upgrade.class.php on line 186

    So I changed apau_upgrade.class.php to 777

Still get the same kind of error messages.

    So, what is next?

    Thanks!
