auto_prepend_file issue

  • I was told to report to the support forum about this issue:

    The Wordfence Web Application Firewall is designed to run via a PHP ini setting called auto_prepend_file in order to ensure it runs before any potentially vulnerable code runs. This PHP setting is currently in use, and is including this file:

    /usr/local/reserved/prepend.php

    Please advise

  • Hi martijnreintjes,
    Could you please contact your web host to check if they recognize this file /usr/local/reserved/prepend.php or not? also ask them if it’s okay to override this file by our wordfence-waf.php? because some web hosts prepend files in a way that can’t be overridden.
