• Hi David,

I must commend you on a fantastic plugin, I was using several different plugins to accomplish everything that is now handled by Caldera, thanks!

I am trying something new and hoping you can help. I am trying to use Caldera to handle little league team registrations, where the parent will complete their details along with those of the child/player. Easy enough, except what to do if the parent has more than one child they want to register. I thought of using a checkbox and conditional logic asking if they want to register another child and then showing the relevant fields. This will work except both players would then be included in the same database entry when they each need to have their own. Is there any way to have the form submitted and then reloaded with some of the fields already auto completed such as the parents details. That way they would only have to fill in the details of the second player and submit again?

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Stuart

  • Hi David, Is it possible in the product to create a duplicate form and allow the user to populate it with one of the existing entries of another form?

    Hello mayankgpta,

I think one forms’s values will not be shown in another form using auto populate.

Can you please explain how would you do that? I am looking for the same.

Right now this is not possible. Well you could probably make it work with some creative coding… We are working on a connected forms add-on that could allow multiple forms, to be conditionally chained together and merge their entries. It will handle these types of situations well. It should be out in a few weeks.
