Autofocus 1.3 – Main Page Images

I’m new to coding, but can understand a bit. I’ve installed AutoFocus+ version 1.3. I’ve created a few test posts and the posts appear on the main page as 2 images across, both the same width and height. How do I change this to appear more like the free version demo (https://allancole.com/themes/) with varied image widths. I feel this has to be a fairly easy fix as everyone seems to have varied image widths. I keep read all the posts I can on AutoFocus theme, but I can’t seem to make anything click for me.

Would anyone mind directing me to a post or site with instructions or explaining it to me? Thanks for your help…and patience.
