    Hi,

I am having an issue that I am very worried about. I have never used or intalled your plugin on my site. Suddenly I noticed though that in my wp-contents folder there is a folder called “Updraft” (not “UpdraftPlus” though!) with a few zip folders(backups), an htaccess, a log txt file, an index.html and a web.config. Like I mentioned, your plugin has never been installed on my site. Do you know where this could come from? Do other plugins use Updraft in any way and create a folder called “Updraft”? I am very worried…

    Hi,

UpdraftPlus will only create these folders when installed. Someone or you web administrator may have installed it for updating purposes. If you no longer use it, you can safely delete the files. It will not affect your site.

    Best Wishes,
    Bryle

@bcrodua Thanks, but I am the only admin and I have never installed your plugin…
