Automated notifications when my third party plugin creates a new topic?

I’ve installed bbpress (a forum plugin) on my wordpress. Every time when my subscribers or administrator create a new topic in that forum, the notifications won’t be sent automatically unless I go to the backend and give a check on “Send notifications on topic update” for every topic. Could that check be set to default? So that I don’t have to recheck it every time?
