Automated Roster/Player-List

  • Hey all,

    I have a problem with automated roster/player-lists and I am not sure if it is a bug or if the following is intended to work this way.

    If I create an automated playerlist for a team (in this case as an example “LEBKOUNG MAFIA”) it will also add all the players to the list, if “LEBKOUNG MAFIA” is added to the Previous Team section of a player.

    Player “Maylo1989″s (https://eishockey-arena.de/blog/player/maylo1989/) Current Team (on my website “Aktuelles Team”) is “Frozen ICE Capitans”. If I look at the automated Playerlist for the “Frozen ICE Capitans” (https://eishockey-arena.de/blog/list/fri-kader/) it will list the player correctly.

    But as you can see on the player page, “Maylo1989” has a team listed in the section of previous Teams (on my website “Frühere Teams”) and this team is the above mentioned “LEBKOUNG MAFIA”. On the automated Playerlist of the “LEBKOUNG MAFIA” (https://eishockey-arena.de/blog/list/kader-nbg/) Maylo1989 will also appear.

    Is the automated playerlist meant to work this way or am I doing something wrong or is it a bug? If it is not a bug or personal mistake I have a feature request: Maybe you can add an additional field in the Playerlist filters where you can select to display Players of a “Current Team”.

    This will work based on the current season. Have you added any matches in the current season where that player was in LEBKOUNG MAFIA?

    Unfortunately your answer did not fix the problem.

    There are matches in the current season but all matches does not have any results or players assigned to it. For example “Frozen ICE Capitans” never played a game before but will list all players assigned to it automatically correctly. It only happens to players which played in another team the season before. Those players will be listed in the playerlists of previous teams and current teams.

    That’s odd. Let’s see what is assigning that player to that team then.

    Please set all your matches as a draft so we can see if you still see that in your team page. If that’s the case that data is coming from a different place

    Hi,

    I have set all matches of Frozen ICE Capitans as a draft. The Roster/Team List still list all current players of that team (all players that have current team set to Frozen ICE Capitans).

    I figured out what happens:

    I added some other teams to the previous teams section of the player Maylo1989. After adding other teams, the player will be listed in every playerlist of the added teams (even if he dont played any game for that team). If I remove LEBKOUNG MAFIA for example from previous team section, the player wont be listed in the playerlist of LEBKOUNG MAFIA anymore. So there must be a bug in the automatic player selection.

    Another point: If I set the option, which players should be added to the teamlist, to manually, I get a list of suggested players. All those suggested players are those players which are currently in the associated team of the playerlist (Maylo1989 wont be listed in the suggested playerlist of LEBKOUNG MAFIA because his current team is Frozen ICE Capitans).
