    Hi there,

    I installed tweet wheel 0.5
    API with twitter, can post when I click
    ‘post’. Says at the top right corner ‘running’.
    All the days are blue. I think it would post automatically my vacancies to twitter. But it doesn’t somehow.

    The problem is with plusbijbaan.nl
    I am working with jobify and job manager.

    Please help so I can post automatically!

    Hi there!

    My sincere apologies for the late response, but I’ve just returned from 2 weeks holiday.

    Does your WordPress have WP Cron enabled? You can try and install WP Crontrol plugin to see if the recurring job tweeting your content has been properly set up in your WordPress.

    When you click “Tweet Now” next to any queued item in the Queue, does it work?

    I can use the ‘tweet now’ option, that’s working.

    WordPress has an built-in system which runs recurring tasks. It’s called WP Cron (or WordPress Cron). It is required by the plugin to send tweets on it’s own.

    I suggest you get a plugin such as WP Crontrol, then follow to Tools > Crontrol and see if “tweet_wheel” task is scheduled.

    It was scheduled. Even if I say ‘run now’ with WP Crontrol it doesn’t post automatically.

    Hi,

    Don’t mean to be blunt, but I am simply trying to get to the bottom of this.

    Can you confirm you have created the schedule for the queue to work with (Settings > Schedule)?

    I had the same problem then I installed WP Crontrol and it give me an error message. It was not caused by tweetwhel because the fact that the error appeared even with the plugin deactivated.

    Looking for internet, some people propose the following solution: add this line to the wp_config.php

    define('ALTERNATE_WP_CRON', true);

    Now it works properly and the tweet was published. Anyway, now I’m worried about the movement of the queue. The post that was published is still on the top of the queue. Next time will it repeat the same post?
