    Hey,

I apologize, as this may not entirely be your wheelhouse. But my goal is to set up a system so that users can be automatically notified by email whenever our blog publishes a new post.

Because of some strife getting an appropriate address, MailChimp is not allowing us to use its service. I am in the process of fixing that problem, but I would like to know beforehand if I’m wasting my time.

I’d imagine MailChimp will allow us to manually send out email updates for blog posts, but I was really hoping for an automatic system?

Even integration with something like Feedburner which claims to send out email updates would help. Although I’m suspecting that is only for feedburner users?

Great plugin though! Just confused on how to integrate it with what I want.

    Hi WraithDrof,

MailMunch will only help you collect emails and grow your list. To send the emails, you are on the right path by using MailChimp or one of the other third-party apps.

You can automate sending of emails using MailChimp’s RSS driven email campaigns which can fetch your blog posts using an rss feed and send it to your subscribers automatically. More information on that here: https://kb.mailchimp.com/campaigns/rss-in-campaigns/create-an-rss-driven-campaign

Altenatively, you can integrate with feedburner by using their html form in our plugin’s custom HTML feature.

Let us know if you have any questions.
