We have successfully used the Personio Integration Light plugin. We have enabled the automatic import feature, however, we currently suspect that it is not working correctly.

Changes made by our client to the content of the jobs do not seem to be applied.
Is there any way to find out what time of day the automatic import is normally supposed to occur to help isolate the problem?

Another thing we noticed is that when our client deactivates Job Postings again (changes it to Draft status), the job postings are still displayed on the website. Even after a manual import, the job still arrives through the interface. The only way to remove the job is to delete all jobs once and then re-import.

If it is needed, I would be happy to provide more information.

Thanks in advance for the help.

    Hello,

thank you very much for your questions. You raise several issues that I will be happy to answer.

    Topic automatic import:
The automatic import is stored as a WordPress cron. It runs in the Light version once per day. This happens at the time the plugin was initially installed. With the Pro version, the interval is changeable. Alternatively, you can also use the WP CLI command and address this via system cron, provided you have the appropriate technical knowledge, see: https://github.com/threadi/wp-personio-integration-light/blob/master/doc/cli.md.

If the import does not run once a day, a look at Tools > Site Health might be interesting. There WordPress lists abnormalities on the website. If there is a message here to the Cronsystem I would recommend that you contact the support of your hoster for clarification.

Another tip: with the plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-crontrol/ you can see which WordPress crons exist in total. After installing and activating the plugin, our cron should be listed under Tools > Cron Events > Custom Events as “personio_integration_schudule_events”. If this is not the case, please de-activate and re-activate our plugin once – this should reset our cron.

    Deleting posts issue:
Jobs no longer submitted by Personio are deleted on import. I have just tested this again successfully. Is the removed job still visible in the backend under Positions or only in the frontend? If it is in the frontend, it may be related to a caching plugin you are using, whose cache needs to be cleared first to refresh the page. In the backend, the view is always live, without caching.

Please make sure that you are using the latest version of our plugin. This is the 2.0.6 as of today.

Have you been able to look at the above in the meantime? Does the import work now? Feel free to get back to us with any further questions.

Since there is no feedback since 2 weeks, I would set the topic to solved. If there are any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
