• I have recently started using WordPress and have found that one word (running) is linked in all of my posts to a page that does not exist. It is linked to the post address/fitness.

I have no such post or page and I have never set one up as far as I know.

I have looked at the html for the page and there is no link on it.

I have searched all of the setting on the left and can find nothing there. I presume it is being installed by WordPress, so how do I either stop this or make use of it?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    Thanks for the advice.

I disabled a Twitter option in my theme settings and it has cured it in the blog posts, though it is still there in a draft I am working on. I will see what happens when I publish it properly.

Was the link in the posts showing since you have installed the theme? If no some scripts may have been uploaded by you or someone else to your host. Try to find it and remove permanently!!!!!!!!!!
