• I have a major problem with automatic newsletter of mailpoet plugin. I have scheduled an automatic newsletter (whenever there is new content) for once a day to a list that i have manually added. This newsletter never works! It is always “sending” but never sends any email.
    I would appreciate some help!
    Thanks in advance!

  • If your automatic newsletter is trigged by a new post on a specific tag, then it’s not working because of a bug we recently identified. We are already working on it and a new version might be out soon to fix this problem.

I wonder if that is what is happening to my automatic newsletters too. It stopped working about 4 days ago, and I cannot figure out why.I get the message below. I have changed everything it suggest and nothing still works.
Please let me know if that is the same issue you are trying to fix. Thank you

“Error Sending Message SMTP works with MailPoet to [email protected] | Bad username / password
The bounce email address “[email protected]” might actually cause the problem. Leave the field empty and try again.

    Hi,

We are on WordPress 4.8 and MailPoet 2.7.10 and we got the same problem. Our classis newsletters are sending correctly, but automatic newletters isn’t send. But MailPoet do as if the newsletters was send. We can consult stats and datetime of sending. Evidently, the stats are wrong.
    Is the bug fixed?

    Hi,

We have the same problem. We’re running on WP 4.4.11 and MailPoet 2.7.13.

    Any help would be apreciated!
    thanks,

Hi, I am having the same problem.

Automatic emails are scheduled instead of sent.

I am using latest Mailpoet Version 2.7.15.1

Looking forward to your fast help.

    Best, Alex

    @all

it seems that the problem could be solved by using this info from mailpoet documentary as I am using the free plan and did not know that a cronjob need to be setup for using scheduled posts. https://docs.mailpoet.com/article/47-configure-cron-job

If you are a Free user and can’t set up a Cron Job on your server, you shoud use one of these services: EasyCron or SetCronJob.

Thanks for trying to help me

    Best, Alex
