Automatic Newsletters don't schedule emails for manually added subscribers

    I have added users to a mailing list with Automatic Newsletters manually. I do not see their names showing as scheduled for those newsletters. That also goes for the newsletters that have “Send Immediately after someone subscribes”. I was, at least looking to see these new signups under the sent stats.

    Am I not doing something right?

    Hi,

    No it won’t send those types of automatic emails for people you them add in yourself, only when they add themselves. Because many people will have already gone through a welcome process with imported subscribers subscribers somewhere else, it would be a bit of a nuisance to receive that kind of email again.

    The issue on my side is that I have users signing up as affiliate marketers on my site. The form that the affiliate plugin uses does not add these subscribers to the correct mailing group when they register as affiliates. They are added to the general WordPress list. Is there a way of automating this, as in, moving the affiliates to the correct list as they sign up?
