    Hello,

It was brought to my attention today that after the last update the website stopped working. It happened purely because of automatic updates. However, since I don’t visit the site every day, I didn’t know about it at all.

That’s why I thought if there is any possibility (perhaps using a plugin) to inform me if the website is working?

    Please help

    Thank you

if your site can send mail, you will get email on critical error.

general site availability monitoring can be done by 3rd party services or a side script.

A plugin on broken site will not work when site will be broken.

if you use Jetpack it can monitor your site uptime

    Hello @fierevere

I don’t need to monitor the site. At least regular random reports would be enough for me, which, if not, would be proof that the website is not working properly.

You could sign-up to a free monitoring service like https://uptimerobot.com/ which checks every 5 minutes and emails you if the site is down.
