HI! When I make some (perhaps massive) changes to my posts, this automatically triggers the publication on Linkedin.
Is possible to add a checkbox to differentiate between wanting to publish on linkedin only while publishing the post or both while publishing and editing?

    Hi @staipa,

When you first create a post, and then publish it, after this first publish the checkbox for do not share will become checked, so that when you update the post, the post doesn’t get shared every time.

If you choose to uncheck the checkbox after, the checkbox will remain unchecked on subsequent updates.

So what you can do in your case, if I understand correctly, is you can uncheck the checkbox, then click the share now button, and then after the share is complete, check the don’t share checkbox. So that way you can do an adhoc share for a major update.

    Thanks,

This doesn’t work if I’m massively updating old posts that were already published before I installed the plugin

    Hi @staipa,

If you visit an old post that was published before the plugin was activated, if you go to the edit page, the checkbox should be unchecked anyway for that post. So you can either click the “Share Now” button in the WP LinkedIn Auto Publish Settings metabox, or just update the post and it will share to LinkedIn.

I’ll try again: if I’m making a massive change I can’t enter article by article to touch the various options.
