• I am using the Jetpack Publicize function on my WP blog to automatically share new articles over Facebook. The reason I installed the Video Thumbnails plugin (and bought the Pro version) was so articles that only contained a video (and no image) would post with an image to Facebook.

It appears that the plugin is working perfectly well when it comes to grabbing a thumbnail of the video and setting it as the featured image for the post.

However, I am running into trouble with Facebook pulling the image properly.

The issue is intermittent and seems random. Doing some research however, it sounds like Facebook plays nicer when the og:image (the featured image in this case) dimensions are rounded to the nearest hundred (so 1500×1400 versus 1543×1423).

Would it be possible to add a feature to this plugin that would allow for automatic re-sizing of images based on specified dimensions? In the pro version, I am able to auto crop the image to a certain ratio (like 16:9), but I’d like to be able to designate the specific resolution to make sure it is resized to the nearest hundred.

Max Dimensions only works if the image is BIGGER and needs to be resized.

    Thanks.
