Automatic send twice confirmation email

I know that there is the possibility to send again a confirmation email for unconfirmed users, but I think that should be useful to have an automatic send a twice confirmation email for the users that haven’t confirmed their subscription.
What do you think about?
Is is possible to implement this function?
