    I would like Woocommerce to automaticaly send the confirmation of the purchase to the buyer. Now i have to manually put the status on ‘confirmed’ to send the email. Is it possible to get this done automaticaly? Buyers want a confirmation at most a few minutes after they have ordered. When i have to do it manually this is not possible.

    What payment gateway are you using?

    An new order email should be sent to the customer when the order status is on-hold or processing. You’re payment gateway must be setting the status to “pending payment” I’m assuming? That’s the problem you’ll need to deal with.

    I’m using Mollie.

    Right now i’m using it with a test API. Maybe this is a part of the problem?

    That could be it, yes. What is the order status after the customer places their order? Once it hits Processing or On Hold, I’m able to get an email notification.

    The order status is ‘cancelled’ right now. I will see if it works when i make an order in the live version. However, my site isn’t ready to go to the live version at this moment. We shall see, fingers crossed! ??

    I hope I am writing to the right topic.
    I am searching for a similar topic for hours now, and this one was the closest to my problem.
    I would like an option where as soon as someone makes a purchase on the WC webshop, regardless of payment done or not, they get a confirmation email with the details of the order and e.g. a note that please pay within 8 days of purchase etc.
    Right now I can only activate the option of New Order, but this only sends email to me (admin) about the purchase of a customer.
    There are so many options in “emails”, but none is an automated response to the customers.

    Please, someone give some guidance how could I set this up.

    Or is there a way to get to the stage of “processing” immediately in WC?
