Automatic Stats Plugin Not worth the time

  • I have downloaded this plug-in and it is a waste of time. To begin with the plug-in requires me to login to dashboard.wordpress which is fine. However I have had issues where I receive messaging stating I need to accept all cookies to allow me to login even though my browser settings accept all cookies. Even with my browser, Opera 9.21, set to accept cookies the login did not accept my password and I had to have it reset two times before I was able to successfully login. Plus the stats that the plug-in is showing 0 visits even though I can attribute 80 visits to my blog. Anyone who feels that this might be a good addition to their blog to report on activity needs to rethink their plan.

  • I have installed it properly and got my API key to activate it. But when I clicked “blog stats” in Dashboard, nothing happened but lead to an error page.

    Have you tried the GENERALSTATS plug-in instead? It seems to be working with 2.2 if that’s what you are running.
