Automatic stock management-backorders

One of my first plugin users, nice to see you’re still using the plugin ??

So if I understood correctly, if the “Allow backorders” option is checked for a product, then when the stock is 0 and the product is bought, the stock should change to -1?

Isn’t that how it works at the moment?

yes correct it goes minus(-1)

so when i manually add a license key to the specific order and mark it as delivered increase the stock +1. (if its -1 go to 0)

Wait a second.

When you manually add a single license key and set it’s status as “Active”, then the stock will increase by +1.

When you add a license key to a specific order and mark it as “Delivered”, then it will decrease the stock -1.

Delivered/Sold license keys do not count towards the stock, because they have already been sold. Inactive license keys don’t either, because they are inside the database but not marked as “Active”.

Only Active license keys count towards the stock, because those are the ones that will be used up when someone purchases the associated product.

If you want to increase the stock, you just have to add a new license key with the “Active” status to the product, and that’s that ??
