    Hi,

A week ago i post a topic about pass sync.

I have one problem that i cannot solve. ?How can i sync new users automatically from WordPress to Moodle? ?Is it always necessary to do Link account to Moodle in users wordpress section?

If i do Link account to Moodle the password changes, so the plugin it is not much help.

I thinking to buy the Single Sign On extension but first i need to understand how the sync functions… ?hoy to sync automatically with the same password?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

You can use the Edwiser Bridge Single Sign On extension to serve this purpose. Using SSO, when a new user is created in WordPress, he is automatically synced to moodle. When new users logs into his WordPress site, he gets logged into his moodle site automatically. For existing WordPress users, you have to manually sync them using the ‘link to moodle’ feature.

The passwords for both the systems will be different since both systems use different encryption policies.

The SSO works in the following way. When users logs into his WordPress site, they won’t have to enter their credentials again to access their Moodle site.

Hence, even though the passwords would be different, it won’t be an issue since users can access both the account by logging in only once.

You can learn more about the plugin here.
