    Hello @decard

Unfortunately, this functionality does not exist in our plugin at this time. You could create your own code. Sorry, but customizations are not included in our support.

    Regards.

thanks for your comment; but is a very strange missing function that you WOULD think was actually very basic and essential.

you can get that field direct in WordPress or via something like advanced custom fields. That’s why it’s not included. What do you need it for? I might be able to help.

    This was all very helpful!
    Many thanks.
(i still think if it is that simple all the relevant Plugins shoud have embedded it.)

One or all of those should work. ??
And i might want to use in different ways/places.

In this case, my ‘use case’ was simply to populate a Registration Date field with the current date/time at the date/time of the registration. Like, duh. ??

(and can someone please explain to me why a Membership or User Registration app would NOT have that embedded? nuts.)

So for that specific case, what approach do you recommend?

I can use PHP a bit although a long time ago now. All my ‘coding’ skills are either rusty or non-existent. ?? Just the other day i read up on a how to create/use Short Codes. Made me dizzy. ??

    many thanks again

you can do this via the plugin. I have it and use it to sort my directory from oldest to newest members. It’s also visible on each member’s profile page. You can see it at https://whatwedonow.scot/membership/members/

click on anybody and it will show the date they registered in their profile.

Is this what you are trying to do? If so it’s easy. Let me know.

    hi there again

opps. i can’t uplodad. so annoying.

the widget mentioned is no longer available; but i see another similar in WP – WP Date and Time Time Shortcode

so, am i correct in thing that i just add one of their Shortcodes into the Registration Date Field, and it should all work?

    many thanks
